क्षारः क्षयः पतिमृतः गरलम् पतनात:
कंठे सुधा वसति वै भगवत् जनानाम्।।
abdhau vidhau vadhumukhe phaninam nivase
svarge sudha vasativai vibhudha vadanti।
ksharam kshayam patimrutah garalam patnatam
kanthe sudha vasati vai bhagavat jananam।।
Translation:
The question was asked: where do we actually find nectar?
The responses were as follows:
Side 1 responded:
1. The nectar is found in a vast ocean.Because of the pastime of Mohini Rupa who is a female incarnation of Vishnu who she came out during the churning of the ocean. Hence we find nectar in a vast ocean.
Side 2 responded:
2. The nectar is found in the Moon planet (Chandramaa) because on the occasion of Somarasa, when we drink The juice from the moon planet, we might find nectar in relishing it.
Side 3 responded:
3. We find nectar inside the mouth of a beautiful female because her beauty enchants many cupids.
Side 4 responded:
4. The nectar is found in the planet of snakes (Sarpaloka) because in the Mahabharata, it is described that Bheema went to the planet of snakes, he was offered a pot full of Sweet juice and he liked it so much that he drank 10 pots of juice and he got strength that equals 10,000 elephants. So by seeing this, we think that we can find nectar there.
Side 5 responded:
5. We find nectar in the Heavenly planets (swargaloka) because according to sanskrit terms, the demigods other names are sura, vibhudha, etc., which literally mean immortal (Amar), or the ones who never die. Hence we mighty find nectar there.
These 5 descriptions were given by scholars (pandits)
But there are faults in all of these descriptions.
1. If nectar was present in a vast ocean, then why does it get spoiled? It should remain clean.
2. If Moon planet had nectar then why does New moon (Amavasya) and full moon (purnima) occur? It should always be full and rejuvenating all the time.
3. Even if a beautiful women's face is being relished by her husband, he also has to die. If she really had nectar in her beautiful face, then even her husband should have become immortal.
4. If the planet of snakes (sarpaloka) had nectar then why does the snakes contain poison in their neck?
5. If Heavenly planets (swargaloka) had nectar then why do jivas fall down from heaven and come back to earth or even go to hellish planets (narakaloka)
ā-brahma-bhuvanāl lokāḥpunar āvartino ’rjuna (BG: 8.16)
So now the question is where do we really find nectar?
The last line:
कंठे सुधा वसति वै भगवत् जनानाम्
kanthe sudha vasati vai bhagavat jananam
The real nectar resides inside the neck of those great personalities who are exalted and are realized personalities of Bhagavān, Sri Krsna.
